How do I run a sale on my Dejavoo Z8/ Z11 terminal?

There are several ways to run a sale on a Dejavoo Z8

Swiped/Chip/Contactless

1. Key amount of transaction
2. Press OK
3. SWIPE, INSERT or TAP card
4. Press Yes to confirm Sale amount on a Z8 or Press F2 to confirm sale on a Z11
5. The terminal will print out a Sales Receipt

Keyed

Only key in a credit card if the card is not present or you risk an auto-decline on the transaction.

1. Key amount of transaction
2. Press OK
3. Key Card #
4. Press OK
5. Key expiration date
6. Press OK
7. Press F2 to indicate Yes if the card is present or press F4 to indicate No if the card is not present on a Z8 or tap Yes if card is present or tap No if the card is not present on a Z11
8. Terminal May Prompt
   • Card present, CVV, ZIP Code
9. The terminal will print out a Sales Receipt

A declined or approved receipt should print out after every successful transaction.
