How to Run a Card Sale with Tips during the Transaction using the In-Cart Function

To run a card transaction using the In-Cart function with the ability for customers to leave a tip during the sale, follow the steps below. Please ensure Tip in Transaction and Tip Suggestion % have been enabled in settings first.

How to Run a Card Sale with Tips during the Transaction using the In-Cart Function

1. Open the register screen on your VizyPOS app
2. Input the amount for the sale and select add to cart
3. Go to the cart screen and select charge
4. Select regular price as the payment method
5. Customers can add a tip to the sale from the suggested options: 15%, 20%, 25%, No Tip, or Custom Amount
6. Tap continue once the customer's preferred tip is selected
7. Tap, insert, or swipe the customer's card, or tap and hold it against the screen to enter the card number
8. The customer will sign on the screen and tap submit to confirm the payment
9. A receipt will automatically print out from the terminal
